Intensive Coronary Care Unit (ICCU) is an intensive care unit for heart disease, especially coronary heart disease, heart attacks, severe heart rhythm disorders, and heart failure. This room is dedicated to patients who need intensive care and are kept sterile. The difference with the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is that if the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is an intensive service for general ill patients, the Intensive Coronary Care Unit (ICCU) is specifically for patients with heart and blood vessel disease. ICCU is part of the Primaya Hospital Cardiovascular and Cardiac and Vascular Center.
Intensive Coronary Care Unit (ICCU) services
As it is only intended for patients with cardiovascular disease, the Intensive Coronary Care Unit (ICCU) has special medical equipment and personnel. This room is prioritized for patients with complications of cardiovascular disease. Patients are usually in an unstable condition and need immediate treatment and full attention from a highly trained medical team and nurses.
Besides being supported with sophisticated equipment and technology, Primaya Hospital’s Intensive Coronary Care Unit (ICCU) is also handled by competent medical teams including various specialist doctors and supported by nurses who are competent in their fields.
We apply the same international service standards at each Primaya Hospital branch that aims to maintain patient’s safety while undergoing treatment in all branches of the hospital that are incorporated in the Primaya Hospital network.
